Autumn 2013

Before the 16th century “harvest” was the word used to refer to what we now call Autumn.

Why do we call it Fall? The following images were taken from essentially the same spot. I pulled onto the side of the highway, 68, directly across the Rio Grande from the historical Embudo Station.

Finding this sight.

…..then this way AutumnEmbudo_6559sHDR.De3…..then over here……. AutumnLog_6573sHDR……..now back toward the bridge……… AutumnBridge_6563sHDR.De3……..and here…… Autumn_6568sHDR.De3…..whoa, how about that water?

AutumnWater_6567…….oooo over there…… Autumnwater2_6571De3.DeN

Perhaps it’s commonly referred to as Fall because it’s what the leaves do. Or perhaps we are entering the “fall” of the year. You tell me.
